2011 in Pictures

January

We bought Eleanor’s crib and dresser/changing table, and began setting up her nursery. 

We went for a 3D ultrasound and got our first glimpse of our sweet girl’s face.

February

We took our first family portrait, I was 25 weeks pregnant.

My belly continued to grow.

March

My cousin threw a beautiful baby shower for us in Phoenix, I was 32 week along.

April

We got everything ready for Eleanor and waited.

May

I got huge, and then…

Eleanor arrived!

June

We learned how to be parents and adjusted to our new lives and roles.

July

We learned that my Grandmother was gravely ill and spent almost the entire month in Phoenix. Eleanor rode on an airplane for the first time (thankfully her Aunt was there to help), and met her Great Grandmother just before she passed away.

August

Eleanor discovered her hands. We nursed a lot.

September

Eleanor learned how to roll over and jump in her jumparoo.

October

I turned 25.

My parents visited and we took our first family trip to the zoo.

November

Eleanor kept getting cuter, mastered sitting up, turned six months old, and started eating solids foods.

December

Our little charmer developed more and more personality, including an incredibly cute silly streak.
We celebrated our first Christmas as a family, and week later our 6th wedding anniversary.
2011 could not have been a better year. It was the year our baby was born, the year I became a mother, the year I watched my partner become a father. It was the year our love grew beyond the limits of our hearts.
